NSTA Foresees Dip in UK Crude Oil Production in 2025

SEATTLE (Oil Monster): In 2025, the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) anticipates that the UK's crude oil production will continue to fall. Over the previous few years, the nation's output has decreased.

It is anticipated that the UK would produce 0.53 million barrels of crude oil per day on average this year. The average output in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 was 0.77 million barrels per day, 0.71 million barrels per day, 0.63 million barrels per day, and 0.56 million barrels per day, respectively.

In addition, NSTA projects that the average daily production of crude oil in the United Kingdom will be 0.50 million barrels in 2026, 0.46 million barrels in 2027, 0.43 million barrels in 2028, 0.40 million barrels in 2029, and 0.37 million barrels in 2030.

In 2025, it is projected that the UK's net gas production will average 0.41 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. Additionally, it predicts that net gas production will average 0.35 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2026, 0.31 million barrels per day in 2027, 0.27 million barrels per day in 2028, 0.23 million barrels per day in 2029, and 0.20 million barrels per day in 2030.

In 2023 and 2024, the UK's net gas output averaged 0.51 and 0.41 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, respectively, according to the statistics.
