Yorkshire Energy Systems is a highly professional Harrogate based company specializing in renewable energy and energy conservation. The governing philosophy of the company is to inform and educate people to the benefits of energy saving solutions. We know from experience that if people are given accurate information they will want to make the change to renewable technologies, not just from an environmental point of view, but also because it makes sound financial sense. However, we understand that this is a new industry and that people need lots of information, reassurance and time when deciding which, if any, renewable technology is best for them.

We hope that you will find this website useful in answering some of the questions you may have but nothing can be a substitute for a face to face meeting to discuss your specific situation and needs. We do not employ high pressure sales people – your only contact will be with trained professionals.

We have a team of highly skilled installers who have successfully fitted over 700 renewable systems across the North of England. They have all the relevant qualifications in electronics, heating and plumbing and specialist training in the specific requirements for renewable technologies such as ground and roof mounting of solar panels, the installation of air and ground source heat pumps and battery storage. Except for scaffolding, we do not use sub-contractors.

Although we are a small company we are highly regarded within the industry – we are the installers of choice in our area for Mitsubishi – the largest manufacturer of air source heat pumps – and Kensa heat pumps the only British manufacturer of ground source heat pumps. We are also the preferred installer for Viridian solar – the Cambridge based company manufacturing high quality “in- roof” solar panel systems. Our customers include Taylor-Wimpey, Seddon Construction, the Citizens Advice Bureau and the Methodist Church.

The success of any installation must begin with the careful gathering of accurate information on site followed by equally careful design. We adhere strictly to MCS standards but believe that our own methodology goes beyond this standard in designing the most efficient systems. We welcome visits to our office to see how systems are designed using industry leading software.

Most of our customers come to us through personal recommendation but if you have not you will be offered visits to see some of our installations and to talk to other customers about their experiences.
