HISTORY

WEP was founded in 2013 by the senior principals of Wold Oil Properties originally based in Casper, Wyoming and Denver, Colorado. The Company and its management team have worked together in various capacities through multiple companies and business models. 

Operations

Wold Energy Partners focus on oil and gas development in the Powder River (PRB) and Green River Basins (GRB) spans fifty years and a multitude of discoveries, field developments and asset sales. The companys current focus is on the stacked oil reservoirs in the PRB that are most economically developed with horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing.   In addition to operating over 150 wells, Wold Energy Partners (WEP) owns 145,000 net acres of land, predominantly of HBP/HBU status in Converse and Campbell Counties. While WEP is a prominent operator and explorer within the Powder River Basin, it also partners with the industrys most reputable companies in their development of these prolific drilling targets.
