Since its founding in 1972, Winters Oil Co. has been deeply rooted in family and traditional values. Mr. and Mrs. Willie Winters formed the company in 1972 when Shell Oil Co. began the jobber class of trade in Texas. In 1973, after graduating Texas Tech University, Phil Judson joined Winters Oil. Phil’s son, Matt, joined the Winters partnership in 2001, having graduated Abilene Christian University in 2000. Son Jody Judson joined Winters after graduating Texas Tech and serving five years in the U.S. Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Winters retired in 2007. At that time, the company changed its name to Winters Oil Partners, L.P. At Winters Oil, we take great pride in family. We’re humbled to have been blessed with a rich, 45-year heritage; a heritage of serving Texas as a fuel distributor and a lubricants distributor. We remain ever grateful to our dedicated staff and business vendors who’ve helped us grow and made our success possible.
