Breshears, Inc. is a third generation independent marketer and distributor of motor fuels, lubricants, and alternative fuels; and, an award-winning lubricants marketer for Chevron Products Company for many years. Our founder, Ora F. Breshears, started the company in Waterford, California in 1938 with one small gasoline service station under the Standard Oil Company brand name. Since its origin, the focus of the companys business has been on serving the petroleum needs of the fertile agriculture market, as well as the strong commercial and industrial markets of California.Growth of W.H. Breshears, Inc. over the years has been achieved through a combination of market development and mergers and acquisitions. In 1978, the company expanded into the timber and mining industry with its purchase of the Chevron distribution terminal in Sonora, California.

Breshears, Inc. acquired a Phillips 66 distributor based in Modesto. In the 1990s, the company acquired another Chevron distributor based in Turlock, California and a Mobil distributor based in Newman, California. In 2009, the company merged with Silvera Petroleum in Atwater.As we continue to grow, our Chevron Lubricant business, bulk facilities and warehouse expansion are all long-range plans we are working towards. All of the companys lubricants are distributed in various bulk and package sizes. Currently, the company repackages over 70% of its Chevron lubricants products using its Modesto packaging facility. As an Independent Oil Marketer we have the ability to market any oil companys products. While many of our competitors sell a number of different brands, we strongly use our relationship with Chevron and their superior product line as our primary brand we carry. As a Branded Chevron 1st Source Lubrication Marketer, we are the first source for value that goes well beyond the product line, contributing to our customers long-term profitable growth.

At W.H. Breshears, Inc. we know that the best maintenance is preventative maintenance. We can offer plant survey and preventative maintenance programs to help you reduce maintenance cost, minimize downtime, and reduce the number of lubricants required - free of cost. We are also proud to provide total fluid analysis - an important management tool for providing trend analysis, predicting machine wear, and scheduling preventative maintenance.
