Valoe Oyj is a Finnish technology company specializing in photovoltaic technology. The company is developing new efficient methods to generate renewable solar electricity in an innovative way.
Valoe Oyj manufactures IBC solar cells in Vilnius, Lithuania, and conventional and Odd Form PV solar panels in Juva, Finland. Valoe also installs photovoltaic systems either as traditional solar power plants or as systems integrated into its application. Valoe has developed its own production lines and also offers photovoltaic technology and equipment to its customers.
Valoe currently has 32 employees in Finland and 10 employees in Lithuania. The company invests heavily in product development and is involved in the European Solar High Technology Development Project (Horizon 2020 HighLite). Valoe has its own cell, panel and device technology, which the EU project perfectly supports.
Valoe (formerly Cencorp Oyj) has its roots in the 1970s. Over the decades, the company has supplied thousands of industrial automation systems to various industries around the world. The company also has technological know-how from its main owner, Savcor, which for years made special coatings for the mobile phone industry, especially Nokia. Valoe moved away from automation manufacturing in 2014 and focused exclusively on photovoltaic technology, where operations are based on in-depth knowledge of materials technology, knowledge and versatile use of laser technology, and experience in automation and industrial mass manufacturing. Since 1999, Valoe's shares have been listed on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Exchanges.
