Currently, VHI is owned and operated by Tom Mehiel. Tom started his waterworks career in 1987. He has experience managing and operating water systems ranging from 7 homes to 25,000 residents and sewer collection systems up to 10,000 residents. VHI began operations in Spring of 2000 and was incorporated in December of 2000. VHI currently has management and operations agreements with water systems sized from 14 to 300 homes, two schools, an office complex and a nursing home. VHI's philosophy of managing and operating water systems is to provide the customer 24/7 emergency service, weekly monitoring and logging of system operations, treatment equipment servicing, water quality monitoring and reporting, and correspondence with DEQ and EPA including annual Consumer Confidence Report. VHI has close relationships with an electrician, engineer, hydrogeologist, pump & well specialist, several underground contractors, and parts & equipment suppliers in order to provide fast & efficient service during emergencies and construction projects.
