Trona Solar is a locally owned and operated renewable energy company serving Central & Southern California. We are located in Trona, CA and have been serving the greater Searles Valley more than twenty years through Valley Wide Construction Services, Inc.

Trona Solar specializes in renewable energy. Our mission is to develop renewable solar energy generation and to encourage California to reduce its carbon footprint and to embrace renewable energy which will help to protect our environment.   We have recently ventured into renewable energy. Trona Solar wants to do our part and contribute to the community and the environment. By working with utility corporations and renewable energy suppliers, Trona Solar believes we can bring sustainable renewable energy to the local community and surrounding areas by 2020.

Valley Wide Construction Services, Inc. (VWC) has started preliminary engineering for the first renewable energy station in Trona, California. The Trona 3 Solar project is a SCR 1 MW(AC) renewable solar farm located 3.5 north east of Trona, in Searles Valley between Pioneer Point and Homewood Canyon - Valley Wells.   Trona Solar plans are to operate single-axis tracker Crystalline panels system. This system will also require transformers, wiring, combiners, inverters, and small-scale structures for operation. Security systems as well as access roads and fences will also be built as part of the station. The Trona 3 Solar Project will be submitted to SCEs Community Renewables Program in September of 2018 with a scheduled construction start date of August 2019.
