Trans Energy, Inc. is a pure play Marcellus Shale producer that engages in the acquisition, exploration, development, exploitation, and production of oil and liquids-rich natural gas. The Company and its JV Partner, Republic Energy, own interests in, and operate approximately 62,000 gross acres in West Virginia. Trans Energy’s current focus is primarily in Marshall, Wetzel and Marion, Counties.  With exposure to roughly 3 Tcfe of upside across more than 400 gross potential drilling locations in the liquids-rich portion of West Virginia, Trans Energy has strong visible growth opportunities for the foreseeable future.  As of June 30, 2012, 120 of these 400 locations are ready to drill locations.Trans Energy’s strategy is to successfully evaluate and drill its prospective acreage in the Marcellus Shale to convert future drilling locations to the proved category. The Company’s highly predictable and repeatable drilling inventory is positioned in the liquids-rich portion in the core area of the Marcellus Shale in West Virginia.  To date, Trans Energy has identified more than 400 potential horizontal drilling locations, of which 127 of these locations could be drilled today upon receipt of required permits.  Management has utilized its significant oil and natural gas experience to strategically acquire interests in more than 62,000 gross acres in the West Virginia counties of Marshall, Wetzel and Marion, much of which is HBP (Held By Production).
