Company History 

Founded in 1927, Town & Country Oil Corp. has delivered quality heating oil and supplied dependable service to the residents of Westchester County for over 80 years.

• Edward Schneider began his career after he graduated from Manhattan College and fulfilled his obligations to the Naval Air Corps in World War II. He established Schneider Fuel Oil Inc. where he delivered oil, serviced and installed heating equipment and performed emergency oil burner service. In 1962 he acquired Town & Country Oil Corp., and became President and CEO.
• John Schneider, the second generation, joined Town & Country Oil Corp. in 1969 after graduating from Spring Hill College with a major in mathematics and accounting. He then learned all facets of the oil business from delivering fuel oil, servicing heating equipment, being active in sales, and eventually becoming operations manager. In 1978 he took over as President of Town & Country and remains in that position today. In 1997 he acquired Regent Fuel Oil. He has been responsible for bringing the firm into the "Automated Wireless World" for both oil and service. His main function today is to get you the best possible price on heating oil by securing oil from our various vendors as well as overseeing the maintenance of our entire fleet. Service Area
• Craig Schneider, the third generation, joined Town & Country in 2006. He graduated from Susquehanna University with a major in communications. He worked with NBC for 11 years, starting as an intern on the "TODAY" show and ending up as part of the team that produced Emmy® winning coverage of the Olympics. Currently he oversees two departments with Town & Country - Sales and Service.
• Brian Schneider, Father of three boys John Thomas (4 1/2), Michael (2 1/2) and Ryan (1). wife - Heather. Joined Town & Country in 2009. A graduate of Eckerd College, with a major in International Business and a minor in Business Management. Served as the Director of Marketing and Sales for Ramtex Sales Corporation for the past 14 years. Currently he oversees the Sales and Marketing Department of Town & Country & Schneider Fuel.
