Tillsonburg Hydro Inc., or THI for short, is 100% owned by the Town of Tillsonburg and operates as a regulated company under the auspices of the Ontario Energy Board. THI serves more than 6,500 customers covering 22 square kilometres in the Town of Tillsonburg.
Tillsonburg Hydro will normally provide one electrical service to each Customer's location at their normal service voltage. For new or upgraded electrical services, the Customer or their representatives shall make application and shall consult with Tillsonburg Hydro concerning the availability of supply, the voltage of supply, service location, metering and other details described in this Condition of Service.
The requirements are separate from and in addition to those of the Electrical Safety Association. Customers may be required to pay capital contributions for the addition of new electrical services in accordance with the policies and procedures outlined elsewhere in this document.
