hermaSource offers three vital services through its subsidiaries: drilling, cementing and mud logging.  The ThermaSource Management Team  has more than 150 years of experience in the geothermal and oil and gas sectors.  Having come from the major oilfield providers, many members of our team have played leading roles in the exploration and development of the largest geothermal projects in the world.  We bring highly trained crews and, wherever possible, first-rate equipment to our assignments.

Contract Drilling: As the leader in the geothermal industry, ThermaSource provides both rigs and highly experienced crews to drilling projects in the US and Latin America.  We are also offering our drilling services to the oil and gas sector in select geographical areas.

Cementing: In a very short period, ThermaSource Cementing has become one of the industry leaders.  ThermaSource Cementing was formed with the objectives of quality, service and dependability.  With over 100 years of field experience, operations and support ThermaSource Cementing provides comprehensive solutions to challenging situations.  ThermaSource Cementing is currently expanding into overseas projects and the oil and gas sector.

Mud Logging: Tecton Geologic is the premier mud logging, H2S and abatement company for the geothermal industry.  Tecton is bringing innovative solutions to our customers with experienced on-site geologist for data collection and continuous well monitoring during drilling.

One objective is to provide a clean, safe and healthy work environment for our employees. Our Environmental Health and Safety Plan (EH&S) includes the materials and methods to support our team’s efforts in maintaining a safe jobsite. The EH&S program is set up to aid in the safe performance of work; however, each individual is responsible for establishing and maintaining safe working practices. No employee should ever subject himself or herself to work conditions they consider unsafe.

ThermaSource operates a fully accredited in house IADC Rig Pass training program. All field employees for ThermaSource receive the IADC Rig Pass training prior to work assignment from our certified IADC Trainers. In addition, ThermaSource works with several third parties (The Crosby Group and DBI Sala for example) to deliver the highest level of training to our workforce.
