Terranets bw is an independent gas transmission network operator. The company has been operating a gas transport system in Baden-Württemberg since 1961. With its approximately 2,700 km long pipeline network, terranets bw ensures the non-discriminatory transport of gas from Lower Saxony to Lake Constance. Terranets bw has been continuously expanding its transport network for 60 years, thus ensuring security of supply at the highest level. Many cities and communities in Baden-Württemberg and Hesse as well as parts of Bavaria and Switzerland, Vorarlberg and the Principality of Liechtenstein are now connected to the terranets bw network. In addition, the company operates a fiber optic network that is more than 2,200 km long.
