Solar Hot Water Heating Systems

Solar Hot Water Heating Systems by ACR Solar International Corporation (SolarRoofs.com). Solar water heating has always been the first step when "going solar" due to low cost and high power density. Solar water heating produces energy at one half (1/2) to one third (1/3) the cost of solar electric (PV). These efficiently designed solar thermal systems save money on energy no matter what energy source is currently used to heat the water (gas, electricity, propane, oil, etc.) The solar hot water heating systems are available for both residential and commercial applications.

The "Skyline" Solar Collectors comes in two sizes and have 26 attractive architectural trim colors available. The main difference between the models is length and weight.

Skyline 10-01 Collectors

The Skyline 10-01 is 6 feet long by 20 inches wide by 3" thick and weighs a mere 19 pounds. The feed and return are at one end on the standard collector. They have a 2" space between them and up to six 10-01 collectors can be stacked one above the other or up to twelve in a stacked, side by side configuration.

Skyline 20-01 Collectors

The Skyline 20-01 is 12 feet long by 20 inches wide by 3" thick and weighs 38 pounds. the feed and return are at one end. They have a 2" space between them and up to 4, 20-01 collectors can be stacked one above the other or up to 8 in a stacked, side by side configuration. 20-01 collectors have custom options feed through and turnaround collectors extending up to 60' with one feed and return.
