We are expert at acquiring operated shelf and developed deepwater assets in the Gulf of Mexico, then exploring, exploiting and optimizing those assets using innovative techniques and cutting-edge seismic technologies. As a cohesive group working together for well over a decade, we have a strong track record of positive results. Before beginning Talos Energy in 2012, we successfully built and sold two Gulf of Mexico oil and gas companies – Phoenix Exploration Co. and Gryphon Exploration Co., each delivering significant returns to our equity investors.
