In 2009, when one of Oregon’s foremost solar technicians Brion Wickstrom found himself out of work, he and fellow alternative energy expert Sarah Freel decided the time had come for the Pacific Northwest to have a solar energy provider that was known for precision, care, and exceptional long-term quality.  When they started Synchro Solar, Brion and Sarah’s idea was simple: to be a solar energy service based on all the best qualities they had collectively come to recognize through dozens of years on site. Their goal was to envision and then design and execute solar arrays that met clients’ exact energy needs for decades to come.  At Synchro Solar, we’re in the business of honesty, accuracy, and sustainability. 20th century homes didn’t come equipped with the advanced technology of today, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be outfitted to become functional, efficient, and modern 21st century dwellings that harness clean, renewable energy.  Even though we deal in the power of tomorrow, our business model is old-fashioned. STEPS TO GOING SOLAR

• Contact our sales manager at john@synchrosolar.com, or just give us a call. (503) 208-4786. There’s no obligation of any sort when you reach out—it just lets us know that you’re thinking about solar and would like some information before getting started.
• Whether you’ve just developed an interest in solar or are a long-time advocate, we believe that a simple phone call is a good way to start. We will talk with you to learn more about your interest in solar, understand the characteristics of your site, and explain available incentives. We can also give you a project cost estimate at this time as well.
• If solar seems like a good fit for you, we’ll schedule a time to come talk in person. During our visit, we’ll scout around and determine the best placement for a solar energy system and analyze what percentage of the available sun’s energy your roof or site could utilize on an annual basis. We will also examine your electrical service and the structure of your roof or the size of your plot to determine if they are adequate for a solar array.
• Once your design is complete, our sales manager will sit down with you to go over project costs, incentives and tax credits, and estimated energy savings. If you are happy with the proposal you can sign and we’ll get started!
• We take care of permitting, order all equipment, and coordinate with you when construction can begin. Depending on the size of your system, installation for a residential system usually takes between 2-4 days. Once installation is complete, we will schedule all necessary inspections, get your new system up and running, and walk you through the details of its operation.
