Svea Vind Offshore's ambition is to contribute to making Sweden sustainable - perhaps the first fossil-free country in the world. A green Sweden has the potential to show the way to a climate-neutral world at the same time as we develop new branches of business.

Svea Vind Offshore's contribution is that we act as a catalyst as we enable the expansion of wind power in suitable locations based on economic, technical and environmental conditions. More wind power increases the share of renewable electricity, which drives the transition to a fossil-free society. This is done, among other things, through electrification of transports and the introduction of new production solutions in industry.

The company was founded in 2015 by Mattias Wärn and Maria Brolin. Both are driven by a desire to make a difference and contribute to a sustainable world both in terms of climate and job creation locally where they operate. The company is growing steadily and in August 2020 the head office was opened in Gävle.
