Solar power plants in the megawat range are no problem for us. We are very familiar with the entire process that leads to the large-scale system. So far, we have successfully proven this not only in Germany, but also in southern Europe. The energy mountain in Fürth with 1.3 megawatts, for example, has been supplying around 250 four-person households with clean energy every year since 2003 and saves around 1,200 tons of CO2 per year. Our 1.1 megawatt system, which was built in 2005 on a former military site in Hohenburg within three months under the most difficult weather conditions, is still impressive today. It is the largest municipal solar park in Bavaria.
