Established in 2007, SRM Projects is a project engineering, management and development firm focused on helping clients, communities and First Nations successfully bring their renewable energy and sustainable resource projects to fruition.  This includes finding the right technology for the project site as well as ensuring the development plan considers and mitigates environmental impacts and addresses stakeholder concerns.  Our business philosophy is based on integrity, reliability, quality and always “customer first”. SRM Projects broad depth of experience in multi-discipline industry and resource development projects brings value to initiatives from conception to construction and commissioning.  Principal Engineer Scot Merriam, P.Eng. comes with over 28 years of varied engineering and project management experience in the energy and industrial process sectors. With an office in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, SRM Projects is ideally situated to support tidal power, wave power, hydro power, solar power and wind power projects on Vancouver Island and southwestern British Columbia. SRM Projects believes in giving back and we are proud to support Engineers Without Borders, The Haven Foundation and many other charitable organizations.  Scot Merriam is a past director and an active member of Marine Renewables Canada, is an active member of Energy Solutions for Vancouver Island and has contributed to Natural Resource Canada’s Technical Advisory Committee for marine renewable energy.
