Speed Solar Inc was started by a small team of people that want to accelerate the use of alternative energy, specifically solar, to replace fossil fuels. Our goal is to expand the installation of solar energy systems by providing quick access to quality solar components.
In July 2018, this fledgling company moved into office and warehouse space in their small community of Deerfield, Wisconsin. Partners Cal Couillard, Al Waller, Jan Farnsworth and Amer Arafat are developing strategies and an infrastructure to sell solar energy products in the Midwest.
Since then, three-quarters of a megawatt of speed solar solar panels have been installed in their village. This is the beginning of a movement toward solar energy for their community. We dream of a solar powered community with solar panels on the public library, community center, businesses, the elementary school, police station, volunteer fire department, churches, and homes.
