Established in 2004 by Ed & Bob Maurais, Mainely Ticks is a family business which provides residents of Maine's York & Cumberland counties with timely, professional tick and mosquito control services. In fourteen years, we've grown from a two man, one truck operation to a dozen part & full time employees and seven service vehicles. Our customers appreciate our personalized approach of incorporating education & science in managing tick and mosquito populations around their homes.

In the spring of 2008, seeing the need for readily available and affordable alternative fuels, we launched Southern Maine Renewable Fuels. We are pleased to offer home delivery service of eco-friendly biofuels including Wood Pellets, Canawick Bricks, Envi Blocks, & Home Fire Prest Logs for wood stoves, pellet stoves and fireplaces. In 2016, Jim Maurais, pictured to the left operating his delivery vehicle, became the proud owner of Southern Maine Renewable Fuels.
