Southern Energy Corporation is a SE Gulf Coast natural gas and oil production company formed in December 2018. Southern is focused on creating real shareholder returns by building a high margin asset base of significant scale by capitalizing on complementary low decline PDP acquisitions with a low risk drilling inventory that continues to generate free cash flow. We will continue our strategy of buying stable, long life assets at PDP valuations when commodity prices are low and drilling multi-zone development projects when commodity prices are more favorable.  Our management team has extensive experience with developing assets through the utilization of horizontal drilling and multi-staged fracture completion techniques. We have a long and successful history of working together as a team and have created significant shareholder value through high quality engineering and geoscience work. At previous companies we have driven substantial growth over short periods of time both through strategic acquisitions the drill bit.

Operations

Our focus is to develop conventional and unconventional light oil and natural gas resources in the SE Gulf State area. We currently operate in two counties in Alabama twelve counties in Mississippi and hold a high working interest in more than 60,000 net acres. Our technical team has a depth of experience in profitably developing assets with horizontal drilling and modern unconventional completion techniques as well as enhanced oil recovery methods.  We utilize our extensive operational and geoscience experience to drive shareholder return on investment. Our strategy is to generate profitable growth by identifying and developing new play ideas as well as utilizing a disciplined approach to acquisitions expanding core assets and establishing core holdings in new areas.
