The Workbook intelligently considers the orientation of the panels, their tilt and spacing, any shading that may be cast upon the system, and various other building-specific parameters. Every installation is monitored in real time, providing customers with the assurance that the entire system is performing optimally 24/7 for the duration of the 20 year contract. SolPowered went a step further by developing an enhanced solution that could detect and monitor individual strings of panels, (there are usually 10 to 13 panels per “string”). This allows any problems or issues to be identified and localized more quickly. In addition, customers are provided with Internet access to performance reporting servers and cameras so they too can monitor kilowatt-hour (“kWh”) generation, all while viewing the installation on their building. SolPowered purchases only top quality products or equipment that comply with product, safety, environmental, electrical and hazardous waste standards, and that have undergone seismic and solar performance testing.
