Solar Scotia Energy Inc. is pleased to launch a new share offering to finance the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential properties in Nova Scotia and distribute solar hardware to 3rd parties.    Investments in Solar Scotia Energy Inc. are RRSP eligible, and investors may qualify for the 35% non-refundable Equity Tax Credit applicable to Nova Scotia income taxes otherwise payable, which may be carried forward 7 years and backwards 3 years.      Investors may be eligible for further non-refundable NS Equity Tax Credits of 20% for a second 5-year holding period and 10% for a third 5-year holding period of the investment. ETC rollovers after the initial 5 year holding period are not guaranteed and additional conditions apply.

Nova Scotia's First Solar CEDIF  

Solar Scotia Energy's first four share offerings raised over $3 million.     Funds invested in Solar Scotia Energy Inc. have been used to finance solar PV installations for almost 100 properties, primarily residential, throughout Nova Scotia.   Solar Scotia Energy's installations to date will reduce CO2 emissions by about 50,000 tonnes over the lifetime of the systems, approximately 25-30 years. This is the equivalent of planting 6000-10,000 trees in Nova Scotia, or taking 170 cars off the road!     Potential investors are reminded that a decision to invest in the common shares of the Issuer should be made separately from and independently of a decision to enter a lease contract (as a customer) with the Issuer.
