Sodimate uses gentle agitation, rather than vibration or fluidization, when discharging and feeding the dry powder. Vibrators mounted directly on bins or silos can cause issues such as compacting, bridging, and arching. Our silo mechanical bin activator avoids such issues and prevents rat holing and erratic silo discharge often seen with air injection systems & vibration.

Pesticide and Nitrate Treatment

In order to make potable water, a large quantity of pollutants such as pesticides, nitrates, cleaning agents and solvents must be removed. To filter and remove these pollutants, drinking water plants use powder activated carbon (PAC), well known for its absorption and filtration capacity. The PAC’s chemical porous structure absorbs the impurities and then passes through sand filters or membranes to be removed from the process.
