Our History

The company was founded in 1931 by Ray F. Snyder. Ray F. Snyder Co. was located on the Kirkland waterfront. In 1960 they became incorporated. During that time they decided to move away from the waterfront and more inland to build an office. Since 1931 they were only a tank truck dealer. But in the late 70s they became a distributor.The company was a great success and by 1999 had annual sales around 50-60 million dollars. Providing gas to mainly Texaco, Arco, and Exxon stations around the area. The company was sold in 2000 when Texaco was bought by Shell. Jack Thomas Jr. then took over the heating oil customers in April of 2001. Since then he has been running the heating oil business.
