Sky Cylinder Testing was established in 1999 to service the high pressure cylinder gas industry, the propane industry, and the refrigerant industry. It is one of a very few companies dedicated to hydrostatic and ultra sonic cylinder retesting. The staff brings more than 100 years of combined work experience in the cylinder industry to help our customers meet all DOT requirements as specified in 49CFR180.205.

Ultra Sonic Testing Sky Cylinder Testing is certified in the latest technology of ultrasonic examination (UE) testing of high pressure cylinders. Cylinders can now be tested without ever removing the valve, thus ensuring the integrity of the product in the cylinder.

Neck-Ring Replacement

Sky Cylinder Testing can remove and install new neck rings and add the customers new information in the event of cylinder ownership change.

Gas Conversion

When applicable, Sky Cylinder Testing can perform cylinder gas product conversions allowing your cylinders to provide the highest return on your assets.

Facility Overview

Sky Cylinder Testings commitment to continuous improvement has resulted in a fully dedicated state-of-the-art cylinder maintenance facility in Evansville, Indiana capable of servicing the Central and Southern United States.  We have recently added a cylinder maintenance facility in Atlanta, Georgia to better service our customers in the Southeast.

Delivery and Pickup

Sky Cylinder Testing offers scheduled pickups and deliveries throughout the Central and Southern United States. For customers with lift-truck capabilities, pallets can be left at their facility for sorting and loading of cylinders.
