Shepherd Oil Company started as a single service station in 1949. Its the reason, in part, that we understand our clients so well—weve been there, and have had over 60 years to perfect our operations. We didnt always offer complete wholesale, transportation and retail services.  From the beginning, however, each piece of our business slowly built off of another to improve what we do best: support our customers. Today, we are proud to distribute gasoline and diesel fuels with our own fleet and assist in all aspects of building and running a convenience store.

At Shepherd Oil, we own and operate our own truck-transport fleet. It gives us the power to deliver what you ordered safely and on time—whether were delivering fuel as a wholesale fuel supplier or common carrier. We also purchase top-quality equipment and screen our drivers carefully. We know we need the best of both to provide a consistent service for our customers.   Here are just a few ways we ensure that:

• Over 25 trucks located across Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas to ensure local availability for efficient delivery

Shepherd Oil is proud to distribute quality branded and unbranded fuel across the central United States. From convenience stores and truck stops to commercial accounts and marinas, we quickly and safely deliver your product with our own fleet of transports. We understand that, like many areas of our industry, the difference comes down to service. We do what we say we will with the experience to do it efficiently and cost-effectively.

Retail

Shepherd Oil began as a single-service station in 1949. Today, we own and operate five convenience stores with more opening soon. Our newest store is a travel center in Alva, OK.  This store includes Sheps Diner inside the store, providing a full service diner for customers. We take great pride in our customer service and carefully selected products to help you get through your busy day;Whether youre here for a cup of coffee, our chicken deli or more, youll always have a clean, safe place to enjoy .

Consulting

Combined with our wholesale division and transportation fleet, were happy to help share what we know about operating convenience stores to improve your business.   You can be new to the industry or have 30 years under your belt. Well still evaluate contracts, go over projections to help select store locations, and share access to our co-op buying group for the best merchandise prices. With over 60 years in the petroleum industry, we have the expertise and quality control for better products and same-day service for most requests.
