Shearwater Energy is a UK-based clean energy developer and private think-tank whose objective is to improve the UK's energy security with minimal impact to the environment. Founded in 2018 by British entrepreneurs Simon Forster and Tom Parks, and two others, Shearwater is working on several innovative projects at critical UK locations. Our areas of focus include low cost bulk hydrogen production and distribution, transmission service products, SMR technology as an alternative to CCGT generation and as a source of low-carbon cogeneration, and diversifying the UK's wind generation portfolio towards the West Coast of the British Isles.
