For many, off-farm income helps boost the bottom line. Our livestock producers and grain producers in eastern Iowa and western Illinois have had to adapt to changes in markets and technology. Thats why they count on River Valley.  Our main goal is to increase the efficiency and productivity of our members agribusiness operations. We know that members trust is never given—it is earned, always. Thats why we refuse to compromise our high standards of integrity, service, social responsibility, and environmental awareness.  The stronger we are as a cooperative, the stronger we are as a community. Were Connected to Our Communities

We have a strong attachment and are heavily engaged with those communities we operate in. River Valley Cooperative has 250 full-time employees and another 50-70 part-time employees during our busy spring and fall seasons. These are good paying jobs with benefits for families in our rural communities. Many of our employees are involved in local community activities serving on town councils, school boards, fire departments, and as EMTs providing medical support in our communities. Many, along with their families, are also actively engaged in school and local activities that benefit the communities that they live in.

As a member-owned cooperative, were focused on meeting the needs of area producers and serving our local communities while keeping the business financially sound. River Valley is guided by dedicated board members whove been elected to serve.

MEMBERSHIP:

Thank you for your interest in River Valley Cooperative. As a Cooperative we allocate profits at the end of our fiscal year (June 30th) with our member-owners based on their volume of business. A portion of these profits are paid out in cash and the non-cash portion becomes preferred stock assigned in the members name and held by the Cooperative to be paid out when authorized by the Board of Directors.   Membership costs are $200 for a Class A farming operation and $100 for a Class B non-farming operation. We Deliver Energy Solutions

Whether you need gasoline to keep you rolling, propane to keep you warm or dry your crops, lubricants and oils to keep your machinery running efficiently, or diesel to run your farm equipment, River Valley Cooperative has you covered.  River Valley Cooperative provides propane, lubricants, and refined fuels in eastern Iowa and western Illinois.

Commercial Energy

Need diesel fuel, unleaded gasoline, ethanol-blend gasoline, or biodiesel? We deliver for all your commercial and farming needs.   When you take advantage of our popular Automated Fuel Delivery (AFD) service, you never have to worry about running out of fuel. With AFD, fuel is delivered direct from the terminal to your tank by Cenex. Well also monitor your tanks automatically, so more fuel is scheduled for delivery, based on your usage.   There is no cost to participate in the AFD program. Several payment options are available, including daily pricing, contracting, and deferred billing. With deferred billing, you pay for the fuel as you use it, with the benefit of the average monthly pricing. This gives you the ability to increase cash flow by paying as you go, plus youll avoid peaks in fuel prices.
