About Company

Responsible Energy Inc. (REInc) is an Ontario based, Canadian Corporation that was founded out of a belief that the long term thinking of managing waste must be reset. More importantly there must be a better way to manage waste other than burning or burying discarded materials. In order to do so, REInc originally focused on discovering and analyzing waste disposal technologies worldwide.

Over the years, REInc has analyzed a significant number of organizations along with their waste destruction technologies. A technological area of focus that has notable performance within REInc’s analysis was gasification. The environmental results show exciting potential and it seems like it could even hold its ground versus landfill disposal concerning financial competitiveness. In the end, REInc concluded from the gasification technologies analyzed, that none of them could come close to producing a high BTU synthesis gas (syngas) without adding a dedicated, capital intensive, energy enrichment stage to their processes.

After the discovery of this important issue, REInc subsequently commenced its own research into the development of its current multi-patented technology, known as FRG™. This early development phase led to the successful production of an unsurpassed, industry leading, high-energy content syngas with the use of REInc’s FRG™ single stage prototype reactor. REInc was then able to verify scalability by building a small scale demonstration system while more importantly maintaining the creation of an incredible syngas produced from carbon based materials.

The Vision

The Leadership Team of REInc has a vision and true belief that FRG™ is a technology that will stand at the top of the global stage in this new emerging cleantech gasification industry.

Like plasma gasification, REInc's technology uses very high temperature, but that is where the similarities end. REInc’s position is that the FRG™ process is decisively superior to all other carbon based syngas conversion technologies.

The FRG™ solution is already becoming the gold standard by which other waste to electricity conversion solutions are judged” Gordon Fraser, President & CEO

Responsible Energy Inc. (REInc) has invented a superior waste to electricity transformation solution that creates a world leading, consistent high energy content synthesis gas (syngas), which is then converted into electricity using any non-hazardous carbon-based waste material as feedstock. Prime sources of carbonaceous streams can be found in biomass, biosolids, municipal waste, and hydrocarbons.

REInc’s multi-patented waste to electricity transformation solution called Free Radical Gasification (FRG™) produces a high-BTU syngas purely by simplifying molecules in an oxygen starved environment which is effortlessly converted into electricity. The heart of the FRG™ process is the generation of a high temperature arc zone. In addition to the release of thermal energy, the internal arc emits ultra-violet light which acts to enhance the formation of syngas by harnessing the resulting free radical reactions. Most importantly, our innovative FRG™ technology increases the breakdown of molecular bonds per unit of energy input, improving efficiency and resulting in a net positive output of electricity.
