Remtech has developed a proprietary bioremediation biostimulation accelerator HC-2000 that has been used for more than 15 years on over 400 sites to enhance the natural degradation processes for solvents and petroleum based compounds in soil, surface water, groundwater, railroad ballast, and other media. HC-2000s diesel fuel biodegradation efficacy surpasses Microblaze, Fuel Buster (F-500), BioSolve, and many of the agents on EPA’s National Contingency Plan list. Remtech has completed over 4,000 projects for transportation (rail, intermodal, highway, inland waterway, air), chemical, manufacturing, energy (power generation and transmission), institutional, and government clients over the past 25 years.

Our corporate offices are located in Atlanta (Marietta), Georgia and primary service area is the Southeastern U.S. and includes: Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida.

Remtech is one of the few emergency response and remediation companies run by Board Certified Environmental Engineers (American Academy of Environmental Engineers) and Certified Hazardous Materials Managers. This ensures peer-reviewed qualifications, experience, and proven cost-effective/state-of-the-art solutions to complex environmental problems. Remtech is a CHEMNET Contractor for CHEMTREC and maintains an A rating with the ISNetworld Safety Program.

Remtech was founded by Mark D. Ryckman in 1988. Mr. Ryckman possesses a B.S in Civil Engineering and M.S. in Environmental Systems Engineering from Clemson University and a B.A in Mathematics from DePauw University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in seven states and a Board Certified Environmental Engineer in Water & Wastewater and Hazardous Waste Management conferred by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers.

He served as Executive Vice President (for 11 years) for D. W. Ryckman & Associates/REACT with his father Dr. D. W. Ryckman (MIT graduate). Dr "Rick" Ryckman founded one of the first Graduate Environmental Engineering programs at Washington University known as ENVIRSAN and an environmental consulting firm RETA (Ryckman, Edgerley, Tomlinson & Associates).

Larry K. Seabolt, Jr., has served as Vice President of Remtech for over 20 years and possesses an engineering degree from Southern Tech in Civil & Environmental Engineering. He is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, and has chaired the Operations Committee of the GA DOT TIME (Traffic Incident Management Enhancement) and Cobb County Resource Council.
