Remote Power Inc. is committed to helping our clients achieve their renewable energy goals. Our staff has over 30 years of combined solar, wind, electrical, and mechanical design, installation, and servicing experience. We are committed to providing effective, efficient solutions to challenges large or small. Our company was founded by Greg Egan in 1999 and was incorporated as Remote Power Inc. in 2004.  Greg started out servicing refrigeration and electrical equipment in Fairbanks in 1979.  Since then he has designed, installed and serviced a multitude of renewable energy systems and equipment throughout Alaska.

Industrial

Remote Power, Inc. provides autonomous, self-contained power systems for mission critical applications. Our systems power cathodic protection, telecomm sites, coastal radar (CODAR) equipment, meteorological stations and scientific research throughout Alaska.

Off-Grid

  Most off grid sites have high fuel costs that can be offset using Renewable Energy (RE). The addition of RE to a generator/battery/inverter system:

• lowers fuel consumption
• lowers generator maintenance costs
• extends generator life and
• increases system reliability.

On-Grid

  On-grid businesses can also benefit from generating their own power. Utility buy-back programs such as SNAP pay producers for the power they generate and send to the grid. Such programs as well as federal tax credits encourage businesses to produce their own renewable energy.  Installing RE on your property is just good business. Companies investing in clean energy are seen as good corporate citizens by their clients. RE on your business communicates publicly your concern for the environment as well as your willingness to do something about it.
