Reco Biotechnology started in 1993 to provide soil remediation services to Central Virginia and surrounding counties.  In 1996 the company expanded to include non-hazardous liquid waste treatment, industrial wastewater processing, fuel recycling, and vacuum truck services.  Today, we provide our full range of vacuum truck services, wastewater treatment & processing, and fuel recycling services throughout Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina. We provide pickup or drop-off services from our Richmond, VA certified treatment facility.

In Central Virginia, we serve customers in the city of Richmond, as well as Chesterfield, Henrico, Hanover, Goochland, Colonial Heights and Powhatan counties. We also provide service east to Williamsburg and Newport News, west to Charlottesville and the Blue Ridge mountain communities, south to Petersburg, and north up Interstate 95 to Northern Virginia. We serve Maryland customers, as well. Fuel Recycling

Our fuel recycling operation provides a cost effective alternative to destructive disposal technology. In most cases, fuel is recovered from water mixtures and returned for use as a fuel. This beneficial re-utilization meets EPA standards for fuel recycling, eliminating the need to manage fuel as off specification oil fuel, supplemental fuel or as a hazardous waste.  Our biological waste water treatment technology then eliminates any organic residuals in the water phase, allowing for a fully permitted post treatment discharge to a POTW.

Drum Processing

Our drum processing unit handles a wide variety of containerized wastes and recyclable fuels. Materials are received in drums, totes, or other D.O.T. containers.
