Robin Schneider is the president and founder of PSG Construction, a boutique home improvement and solar integration company.  PSG Construction currently serves all major California markets while bringing a unique, customer first approach to all projects.  PSG Construction focuses on providing superior communication to its clients during all phases of the project and a level of personal service not found at other firms.  Robin began his career in the real estate development and home building business founded by his father in 1976.  The business, located in Central Kentucky, grew steadily after Robin joined in 2002 and vastly expanded its offerings from single family homes, to office buildings, condominiums, and mixed use developments.  It was during this time that Robin learned the power of happy customers and referrals to drive and grow a business.  For several years in a row, and with Robin serving as VP of Operations, the family business built over 200 homes per year and operated with fantastic approval ratings from its customers. After the financial downturn in 2008 Robin decided that the time was right to make a career move and focus his energy on a different type of construction.  This led him to relocate to Los Angeles and join American Solar Direct as its Director of Operations.  Only the 3rd employee of ASD, Robin helped to grow the upstart business in to one of the largest residential solar integrators in California.   He oversaw the expansion of the Operations department from a single member to a team of 75 people servicing the entire state.A new opportunity presented itself in 2013 when A1 Solar Power needed a VP of Operations.  Under Robin’s leadership, A1 completely transformed and streamlined its team of 80 individuals in to a customer focused and efficient operation.  Recognizing an opportunity to leverage his construction and home building background, he helped A1 expand its product offerings to include a variety of energy efficient home improvement products as well as commercial solar products.After a “down to the studs” renovation of his personal home, and a very long lunch with some solar colleagues, Robin decided to open PSG Construction in order to have the opportunity to roll up his sleeves and work closer with his clients.  His main passion is to have the opportunity to be a part of the creative vision that the customers have for their homes and businesses.  Robin and the PSG team believe in forming a bond with the customer and in organically growing the business one referral at a real time
