Provisions Energy & Marine Support provides top quality food service throughout the oil and gas industry, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our coverage area encompasses all of Louisiana, Texas, Southern Mississippi and Alabama. Along the Gulf Coast, we provide provisional needs ranging from Brownsville, TX to Pensacola, FL.

Provisions (formerly Doerle Food Services) was founded in 1950 as a small two-man operation, selling produce from the back of a single truck and housed in what was once a cow barn. Now, Provisions operates out of the only Food Distribution Facility located in Port Fourchon, La. Our delivery area spans the Gulf of Mexico coastline from Brownsville, TX all the way to Pensacola, FL. While also delivering to different base camp sites throughout the Permian Basin Region. Since 1950, four generations of family members have been involved in the energy and marine support business.  Paul Peter Doerle worked for the Steadman Wholesale Grocery Co., in Beaumont, Texas, for twenty-four years before moving to New Iberia, Louisiana, to open his own produce business.   Paul A. Doerle worked for his father before starting his own separate produce company.  Carolyn Doerle Schumacher has acted as president of the company since 1998 and owner since 2003.  While the general market of the company was sold to Sysco in 2018, the Energy and Marine division was retained, and Provisions Energy and Marine Support continues the original focus of its founders in providing its customers in the Energy & Marine industry with excellent customer service and quality support. Carolyn Doerle Schumacher (CEO), Jacob Doerle (General Manager), and Charles J. Gunnells (Operations Manager) continue to lead Provisions Energy and Marine Support into the future by creating new and innovative ways to expand its market and constantly finding up-to-date technological solutions.
