Power Plant Services was founded in Harwood Heights, IL by Manny Gandhi (CEO) in 1998.
As Power Plant Services reputation grew, mainly through satisfied customer’s word of mouth, we found that we needed to increase our space to accommodate our continued growth. In 2002, we relocated to our current 69,000 sq. ft. facility in Melrose Park. In 2007, the manufacturing of our standard parts was moved to a separate 6,000 sq. ft. facility for higher efficiency. The continued growth of the company allowed us to add two repair focused facilities. In 2010, our 40,000 sq. ft. facility opened in Owego, IL and a 10,000 sq. ft. facility opened near Atlanta, GA.
