NATURAL GAS

PCUD has been in the natural gas business since 1959 and serves over 15,000 natural gas customers in Anderson and Campbell Counties along 700 miles of main. Natural gas is affordable, comfortable and reliable. Most natural gas appliances work even in a power outage. In addition, households that use natural gas for heating, cooking and clothes drying save an average of $874 per year compared to homes using electricity for those applications.

NEW NATURAL SERVICE

For a new natural gas service line, a $375 tap fee (which includes 200 feet of service line) is required along with a $50 activation fee. Additional footage beyond 200 feet will be billed at $3.00 per foot.  Residential deposit: A potential customer’s information will also be ran through Online Utility Exchange to determine if a deposit will be required.  Commercial deposit: A deposit amount of two times the highest monthly bill will be required.
