Plantation Propane & Petroleum’s story began in the early 1920’s as a locally owned and operated business distributing fuel to South Georgia and North Florida customers. Today our headquarters are in the same location on Smith Avenue in Thomasville, Georgia as they were over 90 years ago.   Still locally owned and operated, the business has grown to well over 1,000 Petroleum customers and over $30 million dollars in revenue. Cylinder Exchange

We know it is not always convenient for you to wait to have a cylinder filled, that’s why we began our cylinder exchange division.  We believe we should be giving customers  what they expect—a full cylinder so you don’t have to make needless runs to the cylinder cage to keep your grill or cooker running.  Plantation Propane Inc. can also provide you with Forklift cylinder gas and Floor Buffer cylinders at your commercial or industrial facility.  We run the route and you can forget about the headaches associated with running to the dispenser when you need product.  Whether you need two per month or 20 per week, we will accommodate your needs.   We are always looking for new customers to add to our route.  If you are having trouble with a current supplier or you are not being serviced like you need to be, then give us a call.  Our business is to serve you and we look forward to the opportunity.

Propane

Propane is an energy efficient source used in applications ranging from residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural setting for cooking, home heating, water heating, clothes drying, agricultural crop drying, vehicle motor fuel as well as a wide variety of other uses.

Lubricants

We are a lubricant distributor for Chevron Lubricants. We supply Industrial, Timber, Trucking, Food Processors, Garages and Farm accounts with both Bulk and packaged lubricants (hydraulics, ATF, greases, gear oils, HDMO, PCMO, coolants, food grade oils and additives) with route and special order service in addition to 24 hour emergency service for our bulk customers. We also offer bulk tanks, reels, hoses by lease agreement. We are a proud partner in Southeastern Lubrication Association, LLC, one of the largest Chevron lubricant distributors in Georgia.

Diesel

We carry both high and low sulfur diesel fuels to provide your needs and requirements. Also available in bulk delivery to your site, whether you are an individual user using 100 gallons per month or less or you’re an industrial / commercial user at 10,000 gallons a week, we can accommodate your deliveries. 

Ethanol Blend

We carry both Conventional and Ethanol blend Gasolines.  To know whether the product you are about to use is Conventional or Ethanol blend the pump will have a decal stating  “products pumped from this dispenser may contain up to 10% Ethanol”.
