 Crude Oil Supply

Placid processes approximately 60,000 Bpd of crude oil at the Port Allen, LA refinery.  Placid can refine crude oils ranging from 28° to 45° API gravity and sulphur content up to 2.0 wt. % (as % of mass).

 Marketing & Distribution

We cater to customers of all sizes,  ranging from single location owners to large multi-state marketers.  Placid is also proud to be a major Emergency Fuel Supplier in Louisiana, as well as a military grade jet fuel supplier for the U.S. Department of Defense.     Placid supplies fuels through a network of company owned and third party pipeline and marine terminals located in the Southeast U.S. We market fuel from East Texas to Virginia, mainly along the Colonial and Plantation pipeline systems, and on the lower Mississippi River. Our attention to customer service, along with our extensive network of marketing locations, allows us to be responsive to our customers' needs and grow as our customers grow.
