Peabody marked many notable accomplishments in 2015:

• Set a new record for safety, with a 13 percent reduction in the global incidence rate to 1.25 per 200,000 hours worked for employees and contractors;

• Delivered revenues totaling $5.61 billion, leading to Adjusted EBITDA of $434.6 million;

• Improved Australian costs per ton 24 percent - a record low for the platform; U.S. costs per ton improved 5 percent even with lower volumes; and

• Achieved over $620 million in cost improvements across the global platform.

• Restored 4,716 acres of mined lands into rangeland, wildlife habitat, hardwood forests, prime farmland and wetlands. In addition, the company planted approximately 442,000 trees.

Peabody has 26 surface and underground mining operations across the United States and Australia.  Our mines operate within the company's culture of safety, continuous improvement, and best-in-class engineering and management practices.  All coal produced ​from Peabody operations is mountaintop-removal free.
