History

After owning a bakery in Florida, Lanis Ford decided to move to Michigan and purchase a gas station in 1966. But he knew he wanted to do more than just run the station. After managing the station for some time, he realized there was a real need for quality delivery services. Thats when he bought his first fuel truck and started delivering fuel to his customers right from his own fuel tanks.   As his business and family continued to grow he began training the next generation of Oakland Fuels leaders. Together, theyve continued to provide excellent service with industry best pricing for an ever widening service area.

We offer 500 and 1,000 gallon tanks. Our tanker will come right to your business or fleet to top you off with our high quality gasoline or diesel products. Diesel Exhaust Fluid

Due to new emission requirements by the EPA, the need for easy and affordable access to DEF is more important than ever. Oakland Fuels can help prevent down-time for businesses of any size by keeping your DEF equipped vehicles topped off. We carry the Peak BlueDEF brand of DEF – Diesel Exhaust Fluid.  We offer various container sizes – from 330 gallon totes to 55 gallon drums and all the way down to 2.5 gallon, containers – and can deliver throughout Southeast Michigan.  We can also supply any DEF dispensing equipment (pumps, hoses, nozzles etc.) you may need. All of our DEF products meet the ISO 22241 quality standard.

Propane

Our professionally trained technicians are certified in the proper sizing of propane vapor lines and the proper tank size to handle every job.  We will install your system and test it to be certain it is safe, operational and leak free. Our tanks come in all different sizes and shapes.  We keep above ground tanks in stock, on our lot, in the following sizes:  120 gallons, 250 gallons, 325 gallons, 500 gallons and 1,000 gallons.
