Norwood Land Services, LLC (NLS) was founded in 2005 by Travis Thompson and Landon Dwyer. After earning Petroleum Land Management degrees from Texas Tech University and working as in-house landmen, they pooled their education, experience and resources and founded Norwood Land Services. The company got its start conducting leasing programs, building abstracts for title opinions and negotiating surface transactions for several small independent oil & gas companies, primarily in Texas. Since 2005, Norwood’s client list has grown, with additional projects in Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Montana, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Utah, and West Virginia, in addition to Texas.
Mission :
To provide oil & gas executives field support for all necessary land functions that are required in their exploration and production endeavors that is of the same standard as if they would have completed the tasks themselves.
