Navitas SHS Ltd was founded in 2007 by brothers, Tom and Edd Medlicott, when they observed a client demand for clear, honest, independent advice regarding installation of non-fossil fuel heating systems, whilst building and designing eco-homes with their respective Somerset-based building and architectural companies; Thomas & Thomas Building Contractors and Orme Architecture. Since then, Navitas has grown into a multi-discipline company, offering a range of sustainable heating technologies and plumbing services.
Navitas now has over nine years of market experience, having used this time to undertake relevant training in the complex sustainable heating technology and equipment; to monitor and interpret the government’s on-going “Green Deal” initiatives; to achieve MCS accreditation enabling their customers to benefit from the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
Navitas is able to provide customers with bespoke renewable heating solutions and work closely with them throughout the design process to ensure that the highest levels of satisfaction and customer service are achieved. Working in conjunction with our partner architecture and construction companies we are able to offer turnkey solutions to every aspect of the project, including external hopper design, construction, groundworks and plumbing.
We design each system separately to guarantee optimal performance, whether they are installed on a farm or in a country house and our extensive experience of the Renewable Heat Incentive process puts us in a strong position to offer guidance and manage clients’ applications.
