It’s the most abundant and readily available form of energy in the world. Just one hour’s worth of sunlight beaming to earth could power all of humanity for a year, yet half the world still struggles to find reliable sources of energy. We believe that energy is a right and that the future is solar. We’re focused on delivering this dream today. Over the decades, we’ve earned a reputation for leading innovation that moves solar technologies forward and increases their relevance. Seamless integration with current manufacturing platforms is a natural evolution that’s creating easier access to lower-cost products. We are bringing power to those who need it, where they live and work.
We develop reliable and inexpensive solutions using three product development philosophies that work in parallel to minimize technological risk, to draw on expertise and manufacturing methodologies from established industries, and to scale-up quickly through partnerships.
Customer-centric lean design means we simplify systems to create a more valuable experience. We listen to what our customers and the market are telling us creating products and functionality that matches expressed needs.
T-innovation takes proven materials, technologies, processes, and partner knowledge, and reimagines them collaboratively. Product costs are optimized and integration of reliable components create efficiencies in end-to-end testing cycles.
Alberta Solar One (9.5 MW planned)
Alberta Solar One Inc. is proposing to develop a 9.5-megawatt (MW) solar energy project in the County of Forty Mile, called Alberta Solar One (Project). The Project is approximately four kilometres west of the hamlet of Burdett, Alberta. The Project will occupy approximately 50 percent of quarter section NE-21 10-12-W4M near the intersection of Range Road 123 and Township Road 104. The Project is developed by Alberta Solar One Inc., a joint venture between Enbridge Inc. and Morgan Solar, Inc. The Project will use Morgan Solar Inc.’s SimbaX modules. The project will involve the installation of solar photovoltaic panels, solar tracker mounting systems, internal access roads, cabling, electrical inverter/transformers, grid interconnection, and other related electrical equipment. The project will connect to Fortis Alberta’s local electrical distribution grid from Burdett 386S substation via overhead power lines parallel to Township Road 104, running approximately 400m.
