Mid Florida Diesel, Inc is a private company based in Bartow, Florida with a sound business record. Established in 1996, the firm rapidly became successful by providing specialized services for lite, medium, and heavy duty on highway vehicles, as well as industrial generators, motor coaches, trailers and agriculture equipment.  From its beginnings as a small truck service and engine rebuilding facility with a predominantly private business and agricultural customer base, the firm has developed to the extent that it now includes major companies such as Power Plants, Municipalities, Hospitals, and Citrus Plants throughout central Florida area.  The wealth of experience enables Mid Florida’s team, the ability to tackle situations from routine maintenance to complete overhauls.   The team co-ordinates its activities and communicates with the customer to ensure quality work is accomplished in a “timely manner” at a “competitive price”.  Other services include a 24-hour callout facility for customers, and refurbishment on all  Mid Florida Diesel provides specialized services heavy duty on highway vehicles, industrial generators, motor coaches, trailers agriculture equipmentmakes and models to include DOT inspections, and maintenance programs.  It is located on Highway 60 between Tampa and Orlando, just south of the I-4 corridor and the Polk Parkway.  Mid Florida Diesel’s geographic position enables its technicians to reach any location in central Florida quickly which allows us to provide high levels of service and repairs in an expedient manner for its current and future customers.  Mid Florida Diesel’s is a John Deere Industrial Engine Service Dealer and a manufacture distributor for Blue Star Power System, and a dealer for Northern Lights Marine Generators, and Yanmar Construction Generators.  Our current 10,000 square foot office and maintenance facility is built on 5 acres of land which allows easy access for semi-trucks and trailers.  For future growth we are in the process of adding a new 12,000 square foot maintenance building which will have 5 bays and 2 new lifts.
