For more than seventy years, the Marshall Oil Company, Inc. has been a family owned and operated company.  It all started with one truck and one customer.  Today, the Marshall Oil Company serves a growing list of more than 4,000 customers with quality heating products, expert installation, and prompt and reliable oil deliveries. In this age when big chain oil companies grow by acquisition, there are those local family-owned home heating firms that grow by performance. Marshall Oil provides emergency burner service 24 hours a day, every day. If you ever have questions, you will appreciate communicating with a person and not a machine.  We offer service contracts and budget payment plans, and provide free burner efficiency tests for our customers.

The cleanliness of our fuel trucks and service vehicles, and the knowledge and courtesy of our service personnel are indicative of our operation. Marshall Oil Company, Inc. was founded by Stewart E. Marshall in 1938 with one truck and one customer. This family owned business took its first baby steps in 1890 when the Marshall property was bought and used as an ice business. The Marshalls collected the ice from the family-owned lake that is still right on the property.

The Ice Pond, on the Marshall Oil property, where ice was first cut in 1890 Stewart worked side by side with his wife Viola, son Ernie, and daughter Pat. Today, Ernie works alongside his son Eddie and Pat works alongside her daughter Debora .

This family-owned business is a closely-knit group of family and friends working to make your home heating experience the best it can be.Our President is Ernie Marshall, our Vice President is Stewart "Eddie" Marshall and the Secretary Treasurer is Pat Bartram. We are still the family-owned company that Stewart E. Marshall would have loved to see.

The company has grown to over forty trucks with over four-thousand customers, but his dedication to customers remains. "What he (Stewart E. Marshall) instilled in his children and grandchildren is the foundation on which this company was built, willingness, ability and availability of service.  There is no substitute for prompt, efficient service whatever the hour of day or day of the week.
