MainSonnenStrom was founded in 2018 by Thorsten Götz and Stefan Rothaug as a GmbH & Co. KG.
Originating from an electrical company, with MainSonnenStrom - or MSS, as we shorten it - we want to contribute our part to the energy transition, climate protection and regional power generation.
The declared aim of the MSS is to rent roof areas in order to install PV systems there. This enables us to ensure that roofs and areas that would otherwise remain unused still contribute their part to our power grid.
The offer is aimed primarily at home builders whose financing is currently not possible with a PV system or at retirees who no longer want to invest but still want to benefit from green electricity.
