Mahan Slate Roofing has been in business since 1979 and has evolved into one of the premier slate and copper roofing companies in the New England region. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of slate and copper roofing, and continue to study and train to keep our skills current.We are very proud of our employees and very proud of the work we perform. All of the photos you see on our website are actual photos of our projects, no stock advertising photos of someone else’s work. To ensure we have the most current understanding of the industry, we work closely with The Slate Roofing Contractors Association, (where John Mahan is a current board member), The National Slate Association, The National Roofing Contractors Association and The North East Roofing Contractors Association. We’ve literally traveled the world to attend roofing conventions to learn as much as possible about the traditional installation methods of our specialty, as well as learn any new processes and techniques.
