About Company

Lubrication Engineers builds lasting relationships based on integrity by helping our customers develop lubrication reliability programs that significantly increase performance and reliability, which lowers their total cost of ownership.

Making Reliability Easy for You

With our highly trained consultants, enhanced industrial and automotive lubricants, and comprehensive line of reliability products and services to keep your lubricants clean and dry, Lubrication Engineers can create solutions for any of your lubrication needs. LE oils and greases exceed the performance of ordinary lubricants in a variety of applications, including food processing, power generation, water & wastewater treatment, industrial manufacturing, transportation, drilling and mining. Application Solutions

Lubrication Engineers is a one-stop shop for lubrication reliability. We will work closely with you to learn about your specific equipment and lubrication needs, and then help you create an effective lubrication reliability program that will provide equipment protection and enhanced profits. We start with an onsite equipment assessment. A trained, local lubrication consultant will provide a detailed report recommending lubricants, application methods, usage amounts, and drain or lube intervals. In addition to LEs premium line of lubricants, your consultant can offer you several other best practice products and services – available through our lubrication reliability partners – to ensure the effectiveness of your program.

Compressor Lubrication

Air Compressor The lubricant you choose for your compressor plays a critical role in protecting internal metal parts, preventing corrosion and wear, and sealing; however, requirements vary considerably based on compressor type, the environment in which it is used, and the type of gas that is being compressed.  Lubrication Engineers can help by recommending lubrication reliability best practices – including the right oil – for most compressor types, whether they are centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, rotary screw compressors, rotary vane compressors or dry screw compressors. We have years of documented success helping our customers maximize uptime while reducing costs. When looking for the right oil, it is imperative that a high-quality oil suitable for the application and environment is used.

Enhanced Lubricants

Investing in better performing lubricants can make your plant more reliable by protecting your equipment and keeping it running longer and more efficiently. Lubrication Engineers manufactures and distributes a comprehensive line of high-performance lubricants that far exceed conventional lubricants in a variety of industrial and automotive applications. By significantly reducing downtime and maintenance costs, LE lubricants are also cost-effective, returning the initial price of the lubricant many times over.  LEs enhanced lubricants are made of highly refined or synthetic base oils as well as the following proprietary additives, which LE developed for exclusive use in its lubricants.

  • Almasol® solid wear-reducing additive is able to withstand extremely heavy loads, chemical attack and temperatures up to 1,900°F (1,038°C). It is attracted to metal surfaces, forming a microscopic layer but not building on itself or affecting clearances.
  • Monolec® liquid wear-reducing additive creates a single molecular lubricating film on metal surfaces, vastly increasing film strength without affecting clearances.
  • Duolec® dual-acting additive imparts synergistic properties to lubricants, providing both wear-reducing and extreme pressure protection. It increases film strength and is temperature-activated to provide a protective layer.
  • Quinplex® impact-resistant additive contributes to outstanding water resistance, tackiness and mechanical stability, and helps to form a barrier against corrosion.

Turbine Oil

Formulation Turbine oil formulations are relatively simple; they are a mixture of the following ingredients: Base oil, corrosion inhibitors, oxidation inhibitors, defoamants, and demulsifiers. The base oil is usually 97 percent or more of the turbine oil formula. Additives are blended into the base oil at low levels to protect both the oil and the turbine parts. Additives should be chosen so that they provide optimized performance in the turbine, per OEM requirements. However, many newer turbine oils have been formulated with base oils that were refined with newer techniques. Most laboratory bench test data indicate that the use of these new base fluids should provide longer lubricant life in field applications. Unfortunately, this has not been found to be true. In addition to the newer base fluids, studies have linked certain antioxidant combinations to the formation of sludge and varnish.

Engine Oil, Gear Oil, Hydraulic Oil and Other Lubricant Solutions for Oil and Gas

Engine oil, gear oil, hydraulic oil and other lubricant solutions for oil drilling and natural gas operations can help equipment combat an array of challenges, including wear, heat, heavy loads, contamination from water and dirt, oil leakage, foam, sludge and rust. Grease point problems, such as pound-out and wash-out, pose additional difficulties. If left untreated, these challenges can lead to increased downtime, decreased production, shortened engine oil lubricant and equipment life, and expensive parts replacement. Lubrication Engineers offers an array of lubricant reliability solutions for oil and gas field operations, including high-performance lubricants for drilling equipment.  It is much easier and more cost-effective to put clean lubricant into your equipment and keep it clean and dry than it is to remove water, particulate matter and other contaminants after theyve gotten into the lubricant. The best way to prevent and remove contamination is a comprehensive lubricant reliability program that includes the right lubricants, the appropriate reliability tools and training for key personnel. LE has the expertise, products and services to create the right solutions for all of our oil and gas customers.  LEs high-quality, high-performance engine oils, gear oils, hydraulic oils, greases and other lubricant reliability solutions - chosen wisely and cared for properly for each piece of equipment - can protect expensive equipment, extend lubricant life, increase production and decrease downtime. By reducing the amount of waste oil and filters that require disposal, LE lubricants are also environmentally friendly.
